Data Extraction Services

Data extraction services from GrowthVector turn websites, PDFs, documents, and APIs into clean, structured datasets that you can load into a spreadsheet, a database, or your own tools. We build the extraction and clean the results.

What our data extraction services include

  • Web data extraction: crawling and scraping pipelines for large sites, from a few hundred pages to recurring crawls
  • Document data extraction from PDFs, Office files, and scanned documents, with OCR where the text is an image
  • API extraction: pulling records from third-party APIs and joining them with other sources
  • Data cleaning: deduplication, normalization of names, addresses, and dates, and validation against rules you set
  • Enrichment: adding fields from other sources and matching entities across datasets
  • Delivery as CSV, JSON, or directly into your database or warehouse
  • Handling of sensitive data with de-identification when the source contains personal information

Common uses

  • Competitor price and product monitoring that feeds pricing decisions
  • Lead and directory lists built from public listings
  • Turning a backlog of PDFs or forms into a searchable table
  • Moving data out of an old system before a migration
  • Feeding clean, structured documents into an AI system or knowledge base

How we work

  1. 1Tell us about the project in the form on this page: what you need, your website, and any deadline.
  2. 2We talk it through. That is usually a series of calls and emails back and forth, until the goals, constraints, and what done looks like are clear on both sides.
  3. 3You get a written proposal with the scope, the timeline, and the price.
  4. 4We do the work and keep you updated as it moves. At the end you get a clean handoff, or ongoing support if you want it.

Pricing

Each data extraction project is quoted after scoping. The price depends on the number and type of sources, how hard they are to extract from (static pages, JavaScript-heavy sites, scanned documents), the volume of records, and the cleaning rules.

Common Questions

How much do data extraction services cost?

We quote after scoping, because cost follows the sources rather than the number of rows. A few well-structured pages are quick; a JavaScript-heavy site or scanned documents take more work. The proposal states the sources, fields, volume, and delivery format it covers.

Can you extract data from PDFs and scanned documents?

Yes. Text-based PDFs and Office files are parsed directly. Scanned documents go through OCR first. Tables are rebuilt as rows and columns rather than copied as text.

Is web scraping legal?

It depends on the source, the data, and how you use it, and this is not legal advice. We scope projects to data you own, data that is public and that you are allowed to use, or sources you have permission to access, and we avoid personal data unless you have a lawful basis for it. If a source's terms are unclear, we raise it before we build anything.
