Free Marketing Tools: SEO Audit, Image Converter and Data Extraction

Which free marketing tools should you open first, and what limits apply?

Updated

This hub lists the free marketing tools on GrowthVector, shows which one to open first for your task, and gives the free limits that decide how much fits in one session.

Three tools do one job each: an SEO audit, an image converter and a data extraction run. The fourth connects AI agents to GrowthVector's guides, glossary and prompts through MCP.

Related guides: SEO Oracle audit: metadata, crawlability, links, structured data and performance, image converter: formats, batches and file size, data extraction: entities, contacts and structured data as JSON, GrowthVector MCP: connect Claude, Codex or Cursor, marketing tools directory by category.

Free Marketing Tools on GrowthVector

Open the tool that matches the task in front of you. Three tools each do one job, and the fourth is an MCP server that connects AI agents to GrowthVector's guides, glossary and prompts.

The live tools

ToolWhat it does
Image ConverterConverts JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP and SVG images to WebP, PNG or JPG in your browser.
SEO OracleAudits a website for metadata, crawlability, links, structured data and performance, and gives a score out of 100.
Data ExtractionPulls people, organizations, contacts and structured data from a public URL, and gives you the full result as JSON.
MCP for AI AgentsConnects Claude, Codex or Cursor to GrowthVector's guides, glossary and prompts.

Goal 1: Audit a site and fix what it shows

  1. SEO Oracle: run the audit first, so the fix list reflects the site as it is today.
  2. SEO quick wins checklist: clear the fast fixes first, so any larger project starts from a cleaner site.
  3. Image SEO guide: fix the images on any page the audit flags for performance.

Goal 2: Prepare images for a page

  1. Image Converter: convert the files first, then compare the output sizes before you publish.
  2. Image SEO guide: read it once the converted files exist, so the format choice rests on real output sizes.

Goal 3: Collect site data or feed an AI agent

  1. Data Extraction: pull the fields you need from a public page, so you can see what the data looks like before an agent uses it.
  2. GrowthVector MCP: connect the agent to the guides, glossary and prompts once you know which fields matter.
  3. AI prompt library: choose a ready prompt for the task the agent will run.

Which Tool to Open First

Size the job before you open a tool. Each free tool has a limit that sets how much fits in one session, and a large job can reach that limit halfway through.

Match the job to the limit

  1. For one site check, open SEO Oracle. Free use allows 3 audits in a rolling 24 hours, so plan the audits before you start.
  2. For a site with many pages, open Data Extraction. The free limit is 2 extractions a day, and each run can crawl from 1 to 250 pages. Set the page count for each run before you start.
  3. For a batch of images, open the Image Converter. It takes batches of 100 images, and nothing is uploaded. Convert a small sample first, then check the size change before you run the full folder.

When a free limit blocks the run, split the list across days instead of switching tools halfway through. Keep the list in one file, so each session starts where the last one stopped.

Image Tools: Formats and File Size

Choose the output format with two checks: whether the next tool or browser opens it, and whether the file gets smaller. Test the smaller file where it will be used before you replace the originals.

Format facts that set the first choice

  • Google reports that lossy WebP is 25% to 34% smaller than a comparable JPEG at the same SSIM quality index.
  • Lossless WebP is 26% smaller than PNG, according to Google.
  • Google says lossless WebP keeps transparency at a cost of just 22% additional bytes.
  • On macOS, WebP in Safari needs Safari 14 or later and macOS Big Sur (11) or a newer version.
  • AVIF offers slightly better compression than WebP, but browser support is not as wide. The first versions with AVIF were Chrome 85, Edge 121, Opera 71, Firefox 93 and Safari 16.1.
  • AVIF also has no progressive rendering, so a browser must download the full file before it shows any part of it.

Each converter pair page reports how the file size changed for that format pair. Read the page for your pair before you convert a folder, because PNG output can grow the file. The WebP to PNG converter explains why that conversion makes files so much bigger.

Free Audit and Crawl Tools Beyond This Site

Start with the free tools from search and SEO platforms, because they hold data about your own site. Add a crawler for the pages those tools do not show, and check its free limit before you plan a large crawl.

Free tiers and limits

  • Google Search Console is a free service offered by Google.
  • Ahrefs Webmaster Tools is free for websites you verify. Its Site Audit scans your site for common technical and on-page SEO issues.
  • Ahrefs gives each project 5,000 Site Audit crawl credits a month, and a credit is used only when the crawl reaches an HTML page with status code 200.
  • Screaming Frog's free SEO Spider has a crawl limit of 500 URLs.
  • Google's Core Web Vitals guidance sets a good page at a Largest Contentful Paint within 2.5 seconds, an Interaction to Next Paint of 200 milliseconds or less, and a Cumulative Layout Shift of 0.1 or less.
  • PageSpeed Insights field data covers the previous 28-day collection period, and it comes from the Chrome User Experience Report.

When a crawl returns more issues than you can fix in one pass, turn the findings into a fix list with the technical and on-page SEO checklist. Work through the list by template, so one fix covers every page that uses that template.

Using the Tools With AI Agents

Connect one agent to the MCP server only after you know which tool it will call. The browser tools on this page need no agent at all.

What MCP does and what each tool adds

  • MCP is an open-source standard for connecting AI applications to external systems.
  • MCP lets AI applications such as Claude or ChatGPT reach data sources, tools and workflows.
  • The GrowthVector MCP Free server needs no account. Pro adds SEO audits and Data Extraction.
  • The PRD Generator lets you pick an app type, features, a data model and a stack, then copy a structured PRD prompt for Claude Code, Codex or Cursor.
  • The AI prompt library has copy-ready prompts for SEO, marketing, copywriting, research, growth and sales, plus prompts for the MCP server.

The install steps for Claude Code, the Claude app, Codex and Cursor are on the MCP page. Connect one agent first, run one task, and check the output before you add a second agent.

The Marketing Tools Directory

The directory covers the wider market, not only GrowthVector's own tools. Use it when a task needs a tool that the tools above do not cover.

The marketing tools directory sorts tools into 12 categories: SEO, PPC, email, social, analytics, content, CRM, ecommerce, CRO, PR, ops, and specialized and emerging tools.

Start from the category that matches the task. Then compare two or three tools in that category on their free limits and on the data each one needs.

Check each vendor's pricing or free plan page before you build a workflow around a tool, because free limits change.

Every Tool Page on GrowthVector

Open the page for the tool you chose. If you already know both formats, open the converter pair page for that conversion.

Common Questions

When should you keep a PNG instead of converting it to WebP?

Google reports that lossless WebP is 26% smaller than PNG, so a conversion can cut the file size. Keep the PNG when the next tool in your workflow cannot open WebP, because a file the tool rejects costs more than the bytes you save. The converter keeps the original when its WebP output would be larger, so check the converted file at full size before you replace the source.

Can you publish AVIF without a fallback image?

Plan for a fallback. AVIF gives slightly better compression than WebP, but browser support is not as wide, and the file must download completely before a browser can show it. Put the AVIF source first in a picture element, then a WebP, JPEG or PNG source, so older browsers pick a format they can show. Test the page in the oldest browsers your audience uses before you switch.

Which free crawl limit should decide the tool for a site audit?

Count the URLs first, then match the tool to the count. Screaming Frog's free SEO Spider crawls up to 500 URLs. Ahrefs Webmaster Tools gives each project 5,000 Site Audit crawl credits a month, and a credit is used only for an HTML page that returns status 200. On the free tier, the Data Extraction tool crawls 1 to 250 pages per run, with 2 extractions a day. A site above the limit needs a split crawl across several runs or days.

Why does PageSpeed Insights show a passing field result while the lab test fails?

Field data and lab data answer different questions, so they can disagree. Field data comes from the Chrome User Experience Report and covers the previous 28-day collection period of real visits, so use it to judge the page. Lab data comes from a controlled test, which makes it the better tool for finding the cause. Field data also reports a smaller set of metrics, so a failing lab metric may not appear in the field report at all.

Is it safe to run a data extraction tool on a competitor's website?

The tool's own notice sets the minimum: extract only from sites you own or are authorized to analyze, and respect the terms and intellectual property of other sites. Treat that notice as the starting point, not as legal clearance. Read the target site's terms before you run the tool, keep only the fields you need, and take legal advice before you publish any data taken from a competitor's site.

Do you need an MCP server to use these tools with an AI agent?

No. You can use the Image Converter in your browser without any agent. MCP is an open standard that lets AI applications reach data sources, tools and workflows. The GrowthVector MCP Free server needs no account, and Pro adds SEO audits and Data Extraction. Connect one agent to the server, run one task, and check the output before you add more agents.

Next step

Start with the SEO Oracle if the site needs an audit today. If you have a folder of images, start with the Image Converter.
